Planning Your Tea Party – A Quick Guide
Before you dive into tea blends and table décor, here are a few things to think through:
Guest Count:
How many adults?
Will children be attending? Plan a kid-friendly table or fun activity.
Location:
Indoors or outdoors? Consider the weather—wind, sun, and temperature.
Have a backup plan if you're hosting outside.
Seating & Table Style:
One long table or multiple smaller ones?
Floor picnic with blankets and pillows or traditional chairs?
Flower Arrangements:
Do you want a rustic look (wildflowers, mason jars, herbs)?
Or something colorful and elaborate (roses, peonies, eucalyptus)?
Keep height in mind—avoid tall arrangements that block views across the table.
Mood:
Soft background music
Gentle lighting (candles, fairy lights, or natural light)
Place cards or handwritten notes can add a thoughtful touch
Prep & Planning Checklist:
Will you use plastic, paper, or real plates and cups? Choose based on your cleanup preference and vibe.
Are you hosting solo or asking someone to help? Delegate where needed.
Estimate how much food and drink you’ll need. Will there be a set menu or buffet-style?
Use serving trays and tiered stands to make your setup visually appealing and practical.
Decide on tablecloths, runners, and napkins—coordinate colors for a polished look.
Make space for printables like menus, name cards, or a gratitude journal page.
Remember: prep takes time—but once everything is gathered, assembling it becomes fun and fast.
Give yourself plenty of time the day before or morning of to avoid feeling rushed.
Make yourself a checklist—having a written plan helps you stay organized and avoid last-minute stress.
Prep ahead: anything that can be done the day before—like cutting fruit, baking cookies, setting the table, or prepping tea jars—do it early.
Taking 15 minutes to plan ahead will help your tea party run smoothly and feel extra special.

I am allowed to rest and receive.
My love is powerful.
I am a good mom.
I give myself grace.
I deserve to be celebrated.

Mother’s Day Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of motherhood. Today, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude. Thank You for trusting me to care for, guide, and love the precious children You’ve placed in my life. When I feel weary, fill me with Your strength. When I doubt myself, remind me that Your grace is sufficient.
Help me reflect Your love, patience, and wisdom in all that I do. Teach me to seek You first, to rest in Your promises, and to be led by Your Spirit. May my home be filled with kindness, joy, and peace.
Just as Proverbs 31:25 says, “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come,” I receive Your strength today and choose to walk in dignity, grace, and joy.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Mantra“I am a good mom. I am doing enough. I am worthy of rest and celebration.”
